ROTARY PREVENT THALASSEMIA

Today we Rotary Club Semarang Bojong, RC Semarang Kunthi and other RC from Semarang and also PKK held an event about Prevent Thalassemia by screening some participants. For your information, Thalassemia is a disease that we are treated to be highlight for this period. You can get more information about thalassemia here. This event be held in Jalan Pahlawan Semarang. Well, because this is also Sunday bright morning, many people enjoy biking and do exercise in car free day, at the same time they can join to hear what is thalassemia, how to prevent, and try the screening and blood test. Great event to catch people attention and socialize Thalassemia.

SERAH TERIMA RENOVASI ATAP PANTI ASUHAN WIKRAMA PUTRA

Hi the readers! Long time not posting, really missed this blog then. Well, here we go to our activity this month. So exciting telling about this one. Wikrama Putra is an orphanage in Semarang, Ngaliyan part. This is one of orphanage which we care about. To tell the truth, this orphanage has roof which used to be broken and unworthy. So that Stichting Kansarme Kinderen, Rotary Club Semarang Bojong and Rotary Club Hilversum-West sponsored the renovation of its roof to make the childern in this orphanage feel comfortable living inside. Finally after for about three weeks, the renovation has already been finished. Today, September 8, 2012 is a great day! We have a handover of Wikrama Putra's roof renovation. And another great news is Rotarian Hans and his fiancee special comes this day from Netherlands to attend this handover.
